Acacia Trays - Functional Art

These 15” round acacia wood trays provide the structure and contrast for the resin art inside. These are serving trays. By that I mean that they serve as my test lab when experimenting with coloring work and techniques. The artwork consists of a primary layer of resin artwork that sets the tone. A secondary subtle layer of color work creates texture and nuance. A third clear layer is applied that seals and protects the artwork.

Each one of these trays is unique and truly one of a kind. Below is a sampling of trays I’ve made. To view what is currently available go to the store here.

* The trays are the only thing in my catalog that I only do the artwork and resin work on. The trays are provided by a supplier.
